Why did you choose this look?I chose this look firstly because blue is my favorite colour, secondly because blazers are something I wear a lot and their versatility allows me to fit them perfectly into my everyday wardrobe. Thirdly, because Materiel is a brand that represents everything a modern label should represent. The quality and tailoring is amazing and it is one of the few Georgian brands that are sustainable, which is super important for me. How would you describe your personal style? My personal style is an ever evolving preference. I prefer quality over quantity, therefore like to invest in classic pieces like the jeans, button up shirts and the jackets. I like to elevate my everyday look with a rare pair of sneakers or chunky boots.

The most disliked trend? Most disliked trend for me is blindly following any trend. I think that at some point we all have been victims of fast fashion trends, which are unsustainable and sometimes negatively impact our mental health. In my opinion, the most important thing for the person is to feel comfortable in his/her own skin, and not be confined by specific trends, but be able to express oneself freely and creatively, or just the way s/he feels like.

What is the best fashion/beauty advice you have ever received? The best fashion advice I’ve ever received is to identify and find my own personal style rather than heavily rely on the latest trends. And of course - Less is More! What is the most cherished fashion-related memory? It is not really a memory, but I am really lucky to have a mom who loves fashion and is the same size as me and whenever I’m having one of those moments when I’m standing in front of my wardrobe full of clothes and I have nothing to wear, I know I can always find something in her closet: some pieces of over 20 years old that are still in today

Who/what inspires you? What inspires me? The prospect of unknown and endless possibilities. As women, I strongly believe we can have it all…When talking about inspiration, I cannot miss all the powerful and influential women that innovated and shaped the world in the way that it is today. As we have been talking about fashion, Sophia Amoruso is an interesting case of how buyers’ behaviour can be altered and how buyers can help fashion savvy enthusiast to commercialize on her own idea. Miuccia Prada, Tory Burch, Anna Wintour and others are all icons in today’s world who left irreplaceable footprint on fashion industry and act as a primary inspiration for others. What is the one thing you can’t leave your home without? One thing you can’t live your home without - cell phone.

Which designer/brand does not disappoint you every season and why?As mentioned, I’ve switched up the way I shop and not really up to date with the latest trends, however my favorite labels are Ganni, Acne Studios, RE/Done denim… Describe your daily routine.Depends on a time of the day when I’m leaving the house, but one thing that never changes is that everyday I try to do something useful for myself: workout, healthy sleep regime, drinking enough water, and eating heatlhy food - ensuring that I get all the necessary vitamins. |
