Singer Tika Balanchine shares her favourite brands and the importance of individuality and being yourself. As well as her first memory on the runway at the age of four.

Why did you choose this look?

I chose this look, because I love classic suites and it also has beautiful, warm blue color.

What is the best fashion/beauty-related advice you have ever received?

Be yourself and don’t be influenced by the fashion trends. You are the best influence for yourself.

How would you describe your personal style?

The most important thing in my style is comfortable and loose-fitting clothes.

Which designer/brand does not disappoint you every season and why?

Balenciaga for sure. Firstly, I’m proud of Georgians who have changed the world. Secondly, I see freedom and great imagination in his work every year. Balmain is also my favorite brand, because all of his shows are work of art.

Who/what inspires you?

My daughter and music are the biggest inspiration of my life.

The most disliked trend?

I do not like a trend that does not represent your personality and its selected solely based on other people’s tastes.

What is the one thing you can’t leave your home without?

I always carry phone, lip balm, headphones and sunglasses.

What is the most cherished fashion-related memory?

At the age of four, I walked on a runway. I remember receiving flowers and being excited.

Describe your daily routine.

My morning starts with breakfast and skincare routine. Afterwards I take a walk with my family and then go to work. I have rehearsals and recordings in studio as well. And I finish off the day with another stroll around the city.
